Building a community for all ages

Age-Friendly businesses utilize a variety of features including structural, atmospheric, communication, and accessibility improvements. Through these changes, age-friendly businesses become more comfortable and welcoming to patrons of all ages and abilities.

Steps:

1. Fill out the Interest Form

Click Here to complete the Google form. 

2. Complete the Age and Dementia-Friendly Business Checklist

An age-friendly team member will schedule a walk-through with your physical or online business to review age-friendly features already in place. 

3. Complete a Training

Attend a 1 Hour customer service training online or in-person. Only one representative from your business must attend, but more are welcome. 

4. Receive Your Certification

Receive your certification as the Age-Friendly Glen Cove logo to place on your website and/or a sticker to place in your business’ window!
